Terms of service
The terms for using BG Coaching
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Football S&C with BG Coaching app, book a session, buy a training programme or take out a membership. Please read them before you book or buy. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
1. About us
The app and services are provided by Brad Gale, trading as BG Coaching, a football strength and conditioning coach based in the UK. Contact us at bradgalecoaching@gmail.com.
2. Using the app
- You need an account to book sessions or buy programmes and memberships. Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- The app is for people aged 13 and over. Players under 13 need a parent or guardian to create and manage the account. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission to book sessions or take out a membership.
- Please give accurate details when you book, so we can contact you about your sessions.
- How we use your information is explained in our privacy notice.
3. Health, safety and rehab
- Before every session, tell your coach about any injury, illness or medical condition that could affect you training. Don't train if you've been told by a doctor or physio not to.
- Follow your coach's instructions. Your coach can change or stop any exercise or session if they think it's unsafe.
- BG Coaching's coaches are not doctors or physiotherapists. BG Rehab, the recovery guides and the training programmes are general guidance, not medical advice or a diagnosis, and are written without examining you. If you're unsure, see a doctor or physio first.
- For team and squad sessions, the person booking is responsible for making sure players are fit to take part and, for players under 18, that a parent or guardian has agreed.
4. Sessions
- Sessions are held at Everlast Gyms Poole and run by a member of the BG Coaching team, who may not be Brad himself.
- Prices are shown when you book. Unless you pay online, pay on the day or by bank transfer before the session. Blocks of 4 are paid in full on or before the first session.
- Please arrive on time. Sessions finish at the booked time even if they start late because you arrived late.
- If we have to cancel a session (for example because a coach is ill or the venue is unavailable), we'll offer you another time or a full refund for that session.
5. Cancelling single sessions
- You can cancel a single session free of charge in the app up to 24 hours before it starts.
- With less than 24 hours' notice, or if you don't turn up, you may be charged the full price of the session.
- Because sessions are leisure services booked for a specific date and time, the usual 14-day cancellation period for online purchases doesn't apply to session bookings.
6. Blocks of 4 sessions (non-refundable)
- A block of 4 (1-to-1 for £160, or small group for £200) books the same day and time for 4 weeks in a row at a reduced price.
- Blocks are non-refundable. Sessions in a block can't be cancelled in the app, and you won't get money back for sessions you miss.
- If you can't make a session in your block, contact BG Coaching at least 24 hours before. We'll try to move it to another available time in the following 4 weeks, but can't guarantee this.
- If we cancel a session in your block, we'll rearrange it or refund that session.
7. Memberships and Direct Debit
| Membership | Price | Minimum term | Notice to cancel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Player membership | £50 a month by Direct Debit | 2 months | 1 full calendar month |
| Programmes membership | £15 a month | None | Before your next payment |
- Starting. When you ask to join, you agree to these terms. Your membership starts when we set up your payment and switch on your access. For the Player membership, we'll send you a link to set up a Direct Debit.
- Direct Debit. Payments are taken monthly on or around the date your membership started. Direct Debit payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee: if an error is made in a payment, you're entitled to a full and immediate refund from your bank.
- Minimum term. The Player membership has a minimum term of 2 monthly payments.
- Notice. To cancel the Player membership, email us. Your notice must cover 1 full calendar month: your membership ends on the last day of the calendar month after the month you tell us. For example, if you give notice on 10 March, your membership ends on 30 April, and you pay for April. Notice can be given during the minimum term, but the membership won't end before the minimum term is over.
- Please also tell us before cancelling your Direct Debit with your bank. Cancelling the Direct Debit on its own doesn't end the membership or your notice period.
- Included sessions. The Player membership includes 2 one-to-one sessions each calendar month, booked like any other 1-to-1 session. Unused sessions don't carry over to the next month and can't be exchanged for money.
- Missed payments. If a payment fails, we'll let you know. We may pause your access until it's paid.
- Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Your 14-day right to cancel. You can cancel a new membership within 14 days of it starting for a refund. If you've used any included sessions in that time, we'll deduct the normal price of those sessions.
8. Training programmes
- Week 1 of every programme is free. The full programme is a one-off payment, currently £30.
- Once we've received your payment, we switch on your access, usually within a day. Access is for you only. Please don't share or copy the programme.
- Your 14-day right to cancel. Programmes are digital content. When you ask for access, you agree that it starts as soon as we switch it on, and that you then lose your 14-day right to cancel. If you change your mind before we switch it on, we'll refund you in full.
- If a programme doesn't work properly, tell us and we'll fix it or refund you.
9. Our responsibility to you
- We'll provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that can't legally be limited.
- We aren't responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for injuries caused by not following your coach's instructions or not telling us about a medical condition.
- The app is provided as it is. We try to keep it working, but can't promise it will always be available or free from errors.
10. Everything else
- We may update these terms. We'll show the date of the latest version at the top, and tell members about important changes.
- If you have a complaint, please email us first and we'll try to put it right quickly.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
