Welcome to BG Rehab
Let's start with your injury
Answer a few quick questions and you'll get a step-by-step plan back to playing, with a daily check-in to keep you on track. It takes about a minute.

1What's the injury?
BG Rehab covers these five injuries for now. For anything else, including back pain, knee cartilage or long-standing groin pain, see a physio for a plan.
2Check before you self-manage
Tick anything that applies. These can mean a fracture, a full tear or a ligament injury that needs a professional to look at it first.
Get this assessed before starting rehab. See a physio, sports doctor, or go to urgent care. Starting loading too early on a serious injury can make it worse.
3How bad was it?

Before you start
The plans in BG Rehab are general guidance. They're written without anyone seeing, examining or scanning your injury, so they can't account for everything about you or how you got hurt.
Brad Gale is a coach, not a doctor or physiotherapist. Nothing in this app is a diagnosis or medical advice. If you're unsure what the injury is, it isn't getting better, or anything feels wrong, stop and see a doctor or physio.

When you finish an injury and start a new one, it's kept here with its full check-in log.
Important: this is not medical advice
BG Rehab plans are general guidance, written without seeing or examining your injury. Brad Gale is a coach, not a doctor or physiotherapist. The app can't diagnose an injury, and the timeframes are typical ranges, not promises. If a doctor, physio or surgeon has given you a plan, follow theirs. You use this app at your own risk.
Stop and get medical help the same day if you have
- Calf pain with swelling, heat or redness, or sudden breathlessness (possible blood clot: call emergency services if breathless)
- Numbness, pins and needles or weakness spreading down the leg
- The knee locking, or giving way during normal walking
- You cannot put weight through the leg after a new incident
- Fever, or a wound that is red, hot or leaking after surgery
- Pain at night that does not ease with rest or changing position

How the daily call works
The app uses a pain-monitoring approach common in sports rehab. Some discomfort during loading is acceptable, as long as it stays low and settles by the next morning.
